Thank you to everyone who participated in being interviewed for this story. We found the journalist Tom Hartley to be interested and engaged, and he was keen to conduct genuine research, collecting evidence from COVERSE and others. Because of the genuineness of his approach, we believe there is a possibility of 7:30 pursuing further stories, but there needs to be a demonstration of public interest if this has any chance of being pursued. As such, we encourage as many people as possible to write to ABC 7:30. We have put together some information on how you can do this and suggestions for what you might write.

In August, fifteen Covid vaccine-injured people from across Australia met at Quest for Life in Bundanoon NSW for a 5 day retreat. The retreat was generously donated to us and run for us by the Quest for Life Foundation. Thanks to additional contributions from various businesses and individuals COVERSE were able to offer transport grants which enabled some who were travelling long distances to attend.

The focus of retreats at Quest for Life are on helping people to rebuild their lives after a life-altering event. Petrea King and her team at Quest for Life report having multiple Covid-vaccine injured or bereaved people attend each of their programs in recent years. They were enthusiastic to be offering a retreat focused solely on supporting Covid vaccine-injured people, and are keen to continue building the relationship with COVERSE to help many more Covid vaccine-injured people attend such programs in the future.

The federal government is establishing an Australian Centre for Disease Control (CDC). Much of the work has already been done (see www.cdc.gov.au), and draft legislation to create the CDC as a statutory entity has been tabled in Parliament and is currently undergoing review in the Senate, including a public inquiry.

COVERSE made a submission regarding this draft legislation, where "[w]e make several recommendations that we feel could help strengthen trust and legitimacy for the CDC and hopefully avoid the kinds of real iatrogenic, social, political and mental health harms that we have experienced and been subject to by our public health actors." We further remark that "those impacted by the COVID-19 vaccines remain disabled and wholly abandoned by their Government and by Parliament."

We are well on our way to completing the initial paper from the first ever international Post COVID-19 Vaccination Syndrome (PCVS) study, in collaboration with React19. This paper will be submitted for peer-review and publication with a scientific journal, and will provide useful insights for patients and their doctors in identifying PCVS (subsequent papers will examine diagnostics and treatments), such as the fact that over 50% of patients had symptom onset within 24 hours, and over 80% within 1 week, and that sadly 95% are still not recovered.

Earlier this year COVERSE developed an online database of peer-reviewed scientific studies and medical case reports regarding injuries following Covid vaccinations. This database is free to use and has powerful search features, and is built upon the prior efforts of our international partners.

You may recall that the Queensland Government had sought to destroy the biosamples collected as part of its QoVAX SET study on the safety and efficacy of the Covid vaccines. Thanks to a concerted public and legal campaign, including vaccine-injured study participants, it appears as though these samples are now safe for the time being.

COVERSE is run as an independent charity, not receiving funding from any government sources. As such, donations are always most welcome and necessary if we are to be able to continue and expand our role. Because we have no paid employees and no office or associated costs, your donations will be able to be put 100% directly towards the work that we do.

COVERSE is a registered charity in Australia (ABN 62 661 834 493), and is endorsed as a deductible gift recipient. Donations of $2 or more are tax deductible. All contributions go towards activities that support and advocate for Australians living with ongoing health problems resulting from an adverse reaction to a Covid vaccine.

As well as making individual donations, COVERSE is registered with the PayPal Giving Fund which allows you to encourage further donations by running individual campaigns on PayPal, Facebook or GoFundMe.
