The link between Long Covid and Long Haul Post-Vaccine Syndrome

In a new review article in the journal Frontiers in Cardiovascular Medicine, the authors make the connection between Long Haul Post-Vaccine Syndrome and Long Covid and recommend that efforts to treat these conditions be combined to be inclusive of both conditions.

This article comes out from research at the University Hospital Marburg in Germany, one of the few institutions on the planet that are actively investigating Long Haul Post-Vaccine Syndrome. As of September 2022, most Long Covid clinics in Australia have been refusing to accept vaccine-injured patients, because these patients are not suffering from Long Covid.

We urge the Australian Government to do the morally correct thing and recognise Long Haul Post-Vaccine Syndrome and provide meaningful medical and financial support for the affected patients who got vaccinated when they were asked to do so and have been paying the price ever since.

The article includes a helpful discussion of the current theories of the mechanism of causality and can be read online: doi:10.3389/fcvm.2022.992686
