FDA forced to release all Pfizer clinical trial data

A district court in Texas, USA, has order the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to release all documents relating to Pfizer’s COVID-19 clinical trial by the end of 2022.

The ruling has coming about due to the non-profit group Public Health and Medical Professionals for Transparency suing the FDA to release these documents after it declined a freedom of information request from the organisation.

The release of these document will provide the public and researchers with unprecedented access to clinical trial data related to the COVID-19 vaccines, including clinical notes regarding patients who experienced severe adverse reactions.

The documents will be released gradually over the course of the year, and will be made publicly available at: phmpt.org
